CCUMC Inclusion Statement - August 2022

At the August Board of Directors Meeting, the IDEA Committee presented an inclusion statement for their consideration. The board unanimously supported the committee's proposal and the new inclusion statement can be found below.

CCUMC welcomes the participation of individuals who thrive at the intersection between education, technology, and pedagogy at all levels and various sizes of organizations. We are committed to building a community that strives to acknowledge and value a diversity of voices. We provide opportunities for all our members, however one identifies, to be empowered and grow. 


The mission of CCUMC is to provide leadership and a forum for information exchange to the providers of media content, academic technology, and support for quality teaching and learning at institutions of higher education. To learn more about CCUMC's mission, click here.


The Benefits of Membership

CCUMC primarily offers membership to any institution of higher education with support units for media, instruction, presentation, or information technologies as well as firms and corporations whose business is in support of the purposes and objectives of CCUMC. Retiree and student membership rates are also available. 

Members will receive various networking opportunities to connect with other professionals in their field including access to member pricing at yearly conferences and a member listserv. We are excited to meet back in person for the 2022 Annual Conference, hosted by the University of Central Florida at their downtown campus. Registration is now open, we look forward to seeing everyone in Orlando this October 11-14.
