Job Description 

Provide generalized audio visual (AV) assistance to campus community. Work as a member of a project team involving other support staff, including students. Work under close supervision of a manager or a project leader. Assist in training and supervision of student technicians on audio visual skills both of permanently installed systems and portable/ non-permanent systems.

Experience Required 
Bachelor’s degree. Minimum one year experience in audio visual support position or two years’ experience in a position that included a substantial amount (at least 50%) of audio visual Technology work (including as a student employee).

Job Description 

As part of HBS IT’s Media Services team the Audiovisual Engineer collaborates with multiple stakeholder groups within and outside of IT to design, implement, maintain, and support an advanced ecosystem of innovative AV solutions. The team oversees more than 250 classrooms, conference rooms, auditoriums, and other convening spaces spread across 35 campus buildings, and their services are designed to maximize the user experience for both in-person and remote participants. 

Experience Required 

Minimum of two years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
