Christine Besko-Maughan, William Paterson University

Christine Besko-Maughan is a clinical instructor, Coordinator of the Assistive Technology Center, and Coordinator of the Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement Program at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ.  Christine teaches both graduate and undergraduate level assistive technology courses and guides the annual AccessAbilities Conference, which focuses on implementing technology in the classroom for students with special needs.  Christine has facilitated the curriculum development for new and revised academic programs within the Special Education and Counseling Department at William Paterson University.  In addition to working at William Paterson University, Christine was a clinical instructor at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and taught graduate level courses in the Teacher of Students with Disabilities Master’s Program.

John Gosney, Indiana University

John is a faculty liaison for Learning Technologies at Indiana University responsible for supporting faculty across all disciplines in technology-enhanced pedagogies through initial consultation and direction to campus teaching centers.  Additionally, he is a lecturer in English and American Studies on the Indianapolis campus of IU where he develops and teaches courses in both traditional classroom and online formats. Prior to his current appointment, John served for six years as the director of information technology for the Indiana University School of Dentistry. John has also published extensively in the information technology arena.  Titles include: ASP Programming for the Absolute Beginner (Course PTR, 2002), Beyond Reality: A Guide to Alternate Reality Gaming (Course PTR, 2005), HTML Professional Projects (Course PTR, 2003).  He’s also served as development/technical editor for over thirty IT-related titles including professional certification test preparation guides, programming, and commercial software applications.

Jeff Donahue, Retired (Moderator)

Jeff Donahue was the Director of the Educational Communications Center at Binghamton University for nearly 30 years before retiring in 2010.  He is a past president of CCUMC and is now a life member currently serving on the Professional Development Committee.  Jeff is very active in his Unitarian Universalist congregation, was elected to serve on the New York district's board of trustees and a national committee.  He additionally volunteers at his local public radio/TV station and the Red Cross in Binghamton, New York.
