Location: Hillsborough Community College - Tampa, Florida

Position summary:

    • JOB DESCRIPTION
      • The position manages academic technologies located in instructional areas across the college. 
      •  Responsible for maintenance and life cycle management of academic technologies in instructional areas college-wide.
      •  Plan and implement academic technologies in new and renovated instructional areas.
      •  Manages control unit enterprise server solutions and associated programming for controllers in instructional areas
      •  Train Information Technology technicians to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on classroom technologies, including creation of supporting materials.
      • Keep current on industry trends and developments to ensure innovative classroom technologies are available at HCC.
      •  Work with HCC faculty to introduce and integrate new classroom technologies in teaching and learning.
      • Manage audio visual requirements for special events sponsored by the College.
      • Manage and maintain audio-visual technologies college-wide.
      • Performs other similar and related duties as required.
 

Minimum Qualifications: 

      • Bachelors Degree and
      • Three years of prior-related work experience
        OR
      •  Associates degree and
      • Six years of prior-related work experience
 

Preferred Qualifications: 

      • Post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
      • Experience in education preferred, especially higher education. 
      • Experience with Crestron and Extron control systems preferred.
