Systems Infrastructure Manager

Position summary: The Manager, Systems Infrastructure is responsible for leading a team of technical experts in providing secure and reliable compute, storage and system technology infrastructure services to the university while constantly innovating and improving processes and services to provide a positive user experience. The Manager will be responsible for both planning and operations of on-premises and cloud resources in the areas of server platforms, storage, infrastructure integration, identity and access management, and virtualization. To accomplish this task the Manager must collaborate with technology professionals across the university as well as vendors and other parties to understand institutional and user needs and deliver both standard and innovative solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School/GED
  • Seven years of progressive experience in developing, installing, and maintaining technology infrastructure.
  • Two years of experience team building, motivating, mentoring, training, and leading a diverse and highly technical staff.
