William "Bill" Brown, BD Brown Communications

William “Bill” Brown is a Technology Coach and Consultant with 26 years of experience in the AV/IT and consulting fields. During his career, Bill realized most technology problems a business encounters only represent larger issues within their team. Though many do not yet realize it, issues like leadership, communication and organization hurt a business’s technology usage and overall performance. With this in mind, Bill opened BD Brown Communications. He helps leaders not only find the right technology to put in front of the right clients, but also guides them and their company toward resolving in-house problems that make technology use more difficult. Bill has worked for and served clients like Grandover Resort, Hanesbrand, Bookmarks NC, GlaxoSmithKline, Elon University and more. He has also spoken at events such as InfoComm, CCUMC Annual Conference, and various regional and city business clubs.

Katie Kassof, American University

Katie Kassof is the Instructional Technologist and Learning Space Designer at American University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, a Master of Fine Arts degree in Film and Electronic Media, and a Graduate Certificate in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on academic technology. Currently she is focusing on classroom improvement and technology standardization, video content management, and advocating for new learning technology resources. Outside of work, Katie is learning to ring peal bells at the National Cathedral, loves to read and hike, and bakes great cookies!

Mark Ramsden, Le Moyne College

Mark Ramsden is an Instructional Technologist at Le Moyne College. Mark has 30+ years’ experience supporting both physical and virtual learning spaces in higher education.
