Charles (Chuck) Espinoza, InfoComm International

Mr. Charles (Chuck) Espinoza, InfoComm Staff Instructor, has over 26 years’ experience in the Audio video industry with 13 years in the United States Marine Corps - 8 of those years as Platoon Sergeant and Marksmanship instructor. In the U.S. Marine Corps, Mr. Espinoza was the Chief Sound System Engineer for the United States Marine Corps’ Musical field units. Since retiring from the Marines, he has held a variety of positions supporting commercial and federal government clients, including sound system engineer, project manager, senior integration engineer, chief training officer, quality assurance engineer, and Director of Operations.

John Purvey, Belden

John Purvey is a Sales Engineer, Broadcast & AV at Belden. After earning his BA in broadcasting and electronic communication from Marquette University, John Purvey began his broadcast and AV career in 1993 as a production assistant for WDJT-TV in Milwaukee, moving up the ranks to director and segment producer. Joining Video Images in 1996, John gained sales experience as an account manager. He also held sales positions at Sony Electronics and NVision prior to joining Belden in 2011. In his role as sales engineer, John manages Belden’s cable and infrastructure business within the Greater Chicago area and central region. He was named a national account manager for Professional Systems Network International (PSNI), a network of independent broadcast and AV communications systems integrators. He also serves as a member of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers.

Matthew Silverman, DMC-E-4K, CTS, PMP; Crestron Electronics

Matthew Silverman is a R&D Program Manager with Crestron Electronics, Inc. with over 20 years of experience in IT and AV supporting the Enterprise, Education and Government environments. At Crestron, Matthew provides research and analysis of developments in technology and the competitive marketplace as well as assisting with the coordination of strategic product development specifically focusing on the Education and Government vertical markets. Prior to joining Crestron, he worked as Project Manager and Technology Manager for George Mason University. He has served as a past chair of the InfoComm Standards Committee and as the moderator for the ANSI/INFOCOMM 10:2013:Audiovisual Systems Performance Verification Standard.
