Charles (Chuck) Espinoza, InfoComm International

Chuck Espinoza, CTS-I, CTS-D, InfoComm Staff Instructor, has over 26 years’ experience in the Audio video industry with 13 years in the United States Marine Corps. In the U.S. Marine Corps, Chuck was the Chief Sound System Engineer for the United States Marine Corps’ Musical field units. Since retiring from the Marines, he has held a variety of positions supporting commercial and federal government clients, including sound system engineer, project manager, senior integration engineer, chief training officer, quality assurance engineer, and Director of Operations.

Joey D'Angelo, QSC, LLC

Prior to joining QSC in a leadership role for engagement with end users in 2015, Mr. D’Angelo had been a consultant with Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc. since 1998 advancing to the role of Vice President. While at Salter, he completed over 550 audiovisual projects. He has design experience in a wide variety of project types, which benefit from his extensive fabrication and hands-on capabilities. Before joining Salter, he was a globally recognized car audio installer having built a car for the Tokyo Auto Show, two cars for the consumer electronics show, and in 1996 was an International Autosound Challenge Association champion in the Pro 301-600 watt class.

"Tools for AV Systems Performance-Using Standards to Make You Look Good"

Ann Brigida, CTS, CStd, InfoComm International

Ann Brigida is Director of Standards for InfoComm International and has been in the AV industry for 10 years. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Standards Professionals. She has written AV curriculum, directed marketing for InfoComm education, certification, and standards, and is a contributor to Sound and Communications magazine as well as InfoComm’s All Voices blog. Prior to coming to InfoComm, she was a licensed educator and business owner. In 2013, Brigida won the U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day Paper Competition for her paper "At Work and Play and Everything in Between: Standards Keep the Ball Rolling."

Pomona Valero, Carnegie Mellon University

Pomona Valero is an Associate Director for Application Services in Computing Services at Carnegie Mellon University. She is responsible for leading, supervising, and managing activities for the following areas in the Client Services group: Academic Software (LMS, clickers, etc), AV Architecture (AV system design, streaming, and videoconferencing), Software Platforms (support of operational efficiency for desktop management, software packaging and distribution, and patch/update capabilities), and Client Application Services (email, calendar, cloud storage, and web services). Ms Valero is certified in ITIL at the Foundation Level 2011, is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Project Management Institute, holds a CTS with Infocomm International, is a DigitalMedia 4K Certified Designer with Crestron, and completed the Project Management Certification program from Boston University.
