About this session:
The AV/IT Technology Manager is the coordinator between internal departments, vendors, integrators, industry organizations and end users. Given these responsibilities the person in this role may be the primary resource within an organization reliant on current presentation and communication technologies for daily operations. Similarly, this role can also be a valuable asset for the coordination of needed education and expertise within the organization.
Additionally, given the trend towards reduced budgets in many organizations this role can be utilized to make appropriate decisions regarding complex technology choices as well as being integral to the planning process and promotion of standardization with an eye for efficiently meeting these goals.
