Reorganization has become a trend in Information Technology and Higher Education is not immune. Some of the critical data your management team know how to do an operational assessment? Information Technology Infrastructure Library is a road map for change. What does this mean for AV? Some of the first steps in regards to change are organizational. Does your department have the standard organizational tools and are they current. These organizational tools include Service Level Agreements, Service Portfolios, Workflow percentages, job duties and descriptions.
About the presenter:
Patrick Iglehart, Portland Community College
Patrick Iglehart is currently the Media Supervisor at Portland Community College. He has over 25 years of IT/AV experience including 15 years at St. Edwards University where his last position was Manager of Classrooms, Labs and Media Support.
Patrick served as an Assistant Director and Producer for CrimeStoppers of San Antonio. He was a cartoonist for the Our Lady of the University student newspaper. The International Communication Industry Association named Patrick Adjunct faculty. He completed the EDUCUASE Learning Technology Leadership program and is ITIL certified.
He did graduate work in the Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership program and has a BA in Media/Communication Arts, from Our Lady of the Lake University.
Patrick has presented at 15 tradeshows and conferences including INFOCOMM, CCUMC and AACE, Association for the Advancement of Computers in Education.
Patrick is a San Antonio native.
