Research Award
Purpose: To encourage the development of new knowledge and practices that will lead to increased accessibility to and utilization of educational media, equipment or technology.
Criteria:
- The submission must be from an undergraduate or graduate student, faculty, or staff person in a member organization of CCUMC. A list of the current membership is found on the reverse side of this flyer.
- The research should be in progress or expected to be completed within 18 months of the submission of the proposal.
- The CCUMC research grant can be used to fund the purchase of equipment or for providing salary replacement of the primary investigator.
- Selection of the award recipient(s) will be made on the basis of how well the proposal study focuses on needs or opportunities related to the production, selection, collection development, information retrieval, utilization, distribution, or management of instructional media, equipment or technology. (Greater consideration will be given to studies with general application to the instructional technology field). Selection of the grant recipient(s) will be made by the Research Committee and approved at the summer meeting of the CCUMC Board of Directors.
Application Details
The application must include a one-to-two page description of the study, a proposed budget, and a resume of the investigator. The budget should be directly related to research.
Applications must be received by May 1, 2010
