Colleen Lyon, the Scholarly Communications Librarian at the University of Texas, recently announced that Texas’s Copyright Crash Course website (which was originally created by Georgia Harper in 1995) has been updated and migrated to a new platform. Here’s the new URL for those of you who need to update links and bookmarks: This is one of the very best introductions to copyright that you will find, which makes it an ideal resource for faculty, students, and other non-experts, so if you’re not already familiar with it, I strong recommend checking it out! I personally think that the new layout suits it, but if you prefer the classic version, fear not: it has been archived in Texas’s institutional repository. Cheers to Colleen and everyone else at Texas for keeping this venerable tool current!
