The 2008 Consortium of College & University Media Centers conference will be held at the SpringHill Suites of Lawrence, in Lawrence, Kansas.

Please make reservations directly with the SpringHill Suites. We have a block of 70 suites available for our conference. The rate will be $82.00 per night plus tax for king or double queen rooms. This block will be available for reservations on November 2, 2007. To ensure that you are charged the special rate, please mention that you are with the KU CCUMC Conference. Reservations must be placed prior to September 4, 2008. This hotel is a non-smoking establishment.

This block will be available for reservations on October 2, 2007. To ensure that you are charged the special rate, please mention that you are with the KU CCUMC Conference. Kansas City International Airport (MCI) is the most convenient airport to Lawrence.  It is served by AirTran, American, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Midwest,  Northwest, Southwest, United, and US Airways.  Airport Website: http://www.flykci.com/

Shuttle transportation available:

1. KCI Roadrunner Express  (http://www.kciroadrunner.com/ )  Fare $57 roundtrip.  This is not door to door, so you will be let off at the Lawrence Holidome which is about 2 miles from the hotel.

On-site rental companies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Payless Car Rental, and Thrifty.
