The conference includes an on-site visit to a member institution's media/instructional technology center. Members are invited to host and evaluate all conferences. Conference proceedings are distributed to members. Upcoming conference location: LISTSERVThe consortium's Internet mailing list is open to all current members of CCUMC. It is a closed list as only members can subscribe and only members can post to it. The LISTSERV provides members with a forum to consult the expertise of all of its members. PublicationsThe Leader, the CCUMC newsletter, is published three times a year and the College & University Media Review, our peer-reviewed journal, is published annually. These publications include in-depth articles, consortium news, and features on higher educational media issues. A membership directory, annual report, and conference proceedings are also published. Professional DevelopmentDevelop your leadership skills by serving on committees, task forces, and the board of directors. Attend webinars online that discuss current industry trends or submit a presentation proposal for the upcoming annual conference. Research AwardsFaculty, staff, and students at constituent member institutions are eligible to apply for the annual $20,000 Research Awards Program. Research reports are presented at conferences or published in the College & University Media Review. |
